In 2017, Lawson made his move onto television screens when he took part in season twelve of America's Got Talent. After finishing in the top ten, he returned two years later to America's Got Talent: The Champions and placed fifth in the competition. He recently released his newest stand-up special, My Name Is Preacher onto his YouTube channel, where he boasts over 600k subscribers.
